About Us

WORDview Ministries exists to teach and encourage others in how to read God’s word for personal life-change, church renewal, and community transformation.

Our Purpose

Developing a "Word-View"

Everyone has a worldview, your set of values and beliefs about life and why it is the way it is.  Ultimately it is your worldview that determines your behavior, decisions, habits, character, and destiny.  Wrong thinking produces wrong living, often with painful consequences.

Our need is to develop an accurate worldview, and the only reliable source is the inspired, enduring Word of God, the Bible.  The real issue is "What is your Word-view?”  Do you view life through the lens of God’s Word?

Romans 12:2 says, “… be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove (discern, recognize) what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (NAS)  Our desire at WORDview Ministries is to equip others to be able to view life and their relationship with Christ through God's Word.

Our Mission

In our mission to equip others in God’s Word, we desire to come alongside and partner with the local pastor and church in “equipping the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body….”

Our goals are to:

  • Challenge believers to be fully committed to living by God’s Word.
  • Train believers in the spiritual disciplines, especially that of a daily Quiet Time with God in the Word and prayer.
  • Equip believers in the skills of Bible reading, study, application and teaching.
  • Call today’s church back to a genuine commitment to the Holy Scriptures.
  • Train leaders in discipling others through the Word.
  • Teach others God’s Word in an expository, life-changing manner.

Our Beliefs

Every word in the original writings of the Holy Scriptures is inspired of God and without error. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21; 1 Cor. 2:13)

The Godhead exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one God. (Gen. 1:1; Jn. 10:30, 4:24; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)

Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam all mankind fell into sin with the result that all men are sinners, hopelessly sinful in themselves, apart from the grace of God. (Gen. 1:27, 9:6; Rom. 5:12, 3:23; Eph. 2:1)

The Eternal Son of God became incarnate in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is true God and true man, having been born of the virgin Mary. (Jn. 1:1, 14, 18; Matt. 1:21-23; Heb. 1:6, 8; 1 Jn. 5:20; 1 Tim. 2:5)

Salvation is received by faith alone in Christ, who died in substitutionary sacrifice for our sins and rose again. (Acts 4:12; 13:38, 39; 1 Cor. 15:1-4; Rom. 4:4, 5; 5:1)

Every true believer is promised positional and ultimate sanctification with the possibility of progressive development in life spiritually (progressive sanctification). (Heb. 10:10, 14; Jn. 17:17; Eph. 5:26, 27; 1 Thess. 4:3, 4; 1 Jn. 3:2)

All who are born of the Spirit through faith in Christ can have the assurance of salvation and are eternally secure in Christ. (Rom. 5:1; Jn. 3:5, 6; 1 Jn. 5:13; Jn. 10:28, 29; 17:12; 2 Tim. 1:12)

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead, who regenerates, indwells, baptizes, and seals all true believers in Christ and fills those yielded to God. (Matt. 28:19; Jn. 1:13; 3:3-6; Titus 3:5; 1 Cor. 2:12; 6:19; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 4:30)

The Church, embracing all true believers, is the body and bride of Christ, formed by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 1:22, 23; 5:24, 25, 30; 1 Cor. 12:12, 13, 27)

Christians are called to a holy life of service and testimony in the power of the Holy Spirit, which service includes the propagation of the Gospel message to the whole world. There is promised reward in heaven for faithfulness in such service. (1 Pet. 1:15, 16; Jn. 12:25, 26; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 3:12-15)

The scriptural ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper are for all true believers in Christ. (Matt. 28:19, 20; Mk. 16:15, 16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 9:18; 10:47; 1 Cor. 1:16; 11:23-26)

Angels were originally created holy but now exist as unfallen and fallen including Satan. (Col. 1:16; Neh. 9:6; Ps. 143:2-5; Jude 6; Matt. 25:41; Rev. 12:9; Eph. 6:11, 12)

The Lord Jesus Christ will return personally and this "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. There will be the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.  (Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13; 1 Thess. 1:10; 4:13-18; 5:4-10; Rev. 3:10; Matt. 24:21, 29, 30; 25:31; Rev. 20:1-6, 11-15; Matt. 25:46)

Jackie L. Jackson

Jackie and husband, Guy, co-founded WORDview Ministries in 2001. Jackie is a devoted wife, mom, and Nana. She and Guy have four children and eleven spectacular grandchildren.

Jackie loves THE Word, Jesus, who became flesh and dwelt among us according to John 1.  Jackie loves God’s written Word – the Bible and believes it is the only effective tool for discipleship. And Jackie loves words - she enjoys the art of writing and speaking. Words are useful. They quickly tell our personal and spiritual story. Words communicate our deepest passions, our joy, our greatest disappointments and sadness. Words reveal our calling – our God-given purpose and the desires of our heart. Words minister Truth through the Word. Words share spiritual markers - those places of deeper understanding and commitment. Words can comfort and encourage others. The WORD, Jesus, and His Word are Jackie's inspiration as she uses her words to point others to "the way, the Truth and the life." (John 14:6)

As Jackie began to understand God’s call on her life she opted to focus on specific opportunities that would equip her to be on mission for God.  She holds certifications from Speak Up With Confidence,  C.L.A.S.S. and is a Personality Plus trainer. She has studied at the College of Biblical Studies, Houston, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where she received her Advanced Women’s Ministry Certification in 2013.

Jackie's passion is to lead women to the one true God - our God revealed in His precious Word. Her prayer for every person who visits this website is that they would develop a passion for God's Word as well!  Step one: read it!  Step two: implement what you read!

Should it benefit your women's ministry, Jackie is delighted to join you for events: retreats and conferences, ladies night out, lunches and brunches. You are sure to love her quick wit and use of Scripture as she lovingly draws women into deeper relationship with our Lord.

Her favorite topics include but are not limited to:

  • A Sure Path To Spiritual Maturity
  • Growing into Your Skin
